The series of Apple iPhone 14 was officially announced on Sept. 7, 2022. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro is without a doubt the most exciting of the four new iPhone 14 models. Pricing for the iPhone 14 varies across regions. The iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999/ £1099/ AU$1,749for the base 128GB model. The price jumps don’t affect the US, though – iPhone 14 prices in the States are consistent with last year’s models.

The display of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro is 6.1 inches. It is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) and built with a Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), and stainless steel frame. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro runs iOS 16 which is powered by a 4323mAh Non-Removable Li-Ion battery.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro runs the iOS 16 operating system. It offers an upgraded lock screen with new notification layouts and an alternative to passwords and a refined focus on smart home control.

Additionally, the 14 Proline enjoys a brand-new design with a pill-shaped Dynamic Island notch, the iPhone 14 sticks to the design language of its predecessor. Storage options are the same as the iPhone 13, starting at 128GB, with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. The rear camera features 48 MP (wide) + 12 MP (telephoto) + 12 MP (ultrawide) + TOF 3D LiDAR scanner (depth).

On the front, there is a dual camera: 12 MP (wide) + SL 3D, (depth/biometrics sensor). The dimension of the device is 147.5 x 71.5 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 206 grams. The iPhone 14 Pro comes with iOS 16 out of the box. Apple decided to reuse the 2021 A15 Bionic chipset in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. But each of the Pro models uses a new A16 Bionic system. Apple has really nailed its smartphone formula. It has amazing cameras, sports a beautiful display, and the notch is dead.

Finally, Battery sees a boost on the iPhone 14, especially on the larger Plus model. The iPhone 14 also features a major upgrade in connectivity, with satellite connectivity for SOS calls in remote environments. All US-bound iPhone 14 models do NOT support traditional SIM cards, and instead, make the switch to eSIM. International models, however, will still ship with support for traditional SIM cards.
